The Eastern Blue Ridge Fly Fishers, Inc. (EBRFF) is a non-profit fly-fishing club based in the Virginia Piedmont area; a charter club of the Federation of Fly Fishers, a national service organization dedicated to the promotion of the sport of fly-fishing and the conservation of our natural resources.
Our goal is to promote the sport of fly-fishing through various club activities including monthly meetings, special workshops and seminars, fish outings, and the like. It is our desire to encourage a strong stream and conservation ethic within the club membership by organizing river cleanups and working cooperatively with other organizations who share our mission and focus.
Monthly Club Meetings:
We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month, between 6:30—8:30 PM, at Brandon's Place, a traditional Irish Pub, located at 110 Cameron Street, in historic downtown Culpeper.
For directions please contact the pub at (540) 829-1025 or Joe Frankfurth at 540-661-9785 or by email at joefrankfurth@comcast.net.
Fishing Trips:
Local Fishing Trips: Every month EBRFF organizes a fish outing to one of our local rivers and streams. The goal is to introduce club members to some of the best fishing that is available in the Virginia Piedmont area and to facilitate the sharing of fly-fishing knowledge and techniques between club members.
Remote Fishing Trips: Periodically throughout the year EBRFF will organize, with the assistance of club members, various fishing trips to more remote locations. Since the focus of our club is “all fish, all waters” we want to provide our members with opportunities to participate in unique fishing trips that broaden their fly-fishing knowledge and experience.
Special Workshops & Seminars:
We will offer special one day workshops and seminars on various aspects of fly-fishing including fly-casting and fly-tying clinics.
